When an following issue arises “Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) The USB device returned an invalid USB device descriptor.”
3 Reasons for following error :
- Not having latest USB drivers.
- Incompatible with motherboard.
- Port Issue.
Download Asmedia USB Controller Driver :
Download Asmedia USB Host controller Driver , If problem persiste , follow windows dism repair command.
Type “CMD” and Run as a Administrator.
Type following command : sfc /scannow
Enter and wait for some time to complete repair of windows.
Incompatible with Motherboard :
Make sure your system has a USB 3.0 port. Use USB 3.0 port.
Port Issue.
Check port issue with other equipments , If it does not work , It would be physically connecting issue.
